The Learning Profile paper is a three- to four-page paper summarizing key elements of your personal learning experience. The paper should be an honest, open appraisal of your past experiences and self-knowledge, the results of the learning styles inventories you completed, and insights from activities you have completed (Multiple Intelligences, Time Monitor Log, etc.). Your paper should address the elements outlined in the general framework identified below, but do not just mechanically answer the questions. Using the four key elements described below, be creative and make the paper reflect you in a personally meaningful way. Be certain to include an introduction and conclusion and format your paper according to the instructions in the Assignment Overview section of the syllabus.
Assignments (homework done outside of class) are 35% of the overall class grade.

Evaluate how your current habits, motivation, and study strategies affect your academic success.

Create a reflective paper that connects your experiences with course concepts and demonstrates your growth as a learner.
Assignment Instructions
This project is YOUR educational journey – Past, Present, and Future.
The idea is to see where things connect throughout your experiences, identify your strengths, and target areas of weakness. I would suggest writing the three parts first and then go back and add an introduction paragraph and a conclusion paragraph.
You may also choose another format for your project, as long as it meets all the requirements. You can submit a video, slideshow, audio, PDFs, etc. Do not sit down and write this paper all at once. Gather the information, work on it a section at a time and give yourself time to reflect on and refine what you have written.
Grading
Your assignment will be graded using a 4-point rubric that focuses on:
Depth of reflection
Connection to first-year learning outcomes
Use of specific examples
Clarity and completeness
Effort and thoughtful engagement matter more than perfect writing.
