Career Exploration Project

Whether you are exploring majors or searching for information about your chosen field, ACC provide resources to help you in your decision-making process. Complete the Career Exploration project, explore career resources, or schedule an appointment to help you find the right career match for you.

This project has 3 parts and all three should be turned in for full credit.

PART ONE

This project will get you started on career exploration and research.  There are three parts to this part:

1. Complete assessments in FOCUS-2 

   1. Create a new account using your official ACCmail account and the Focus 2 access code (Riverbat). Use this Quick Start Guide for account set-up assistance. 

2. Save at least five occupations you are interested in FOCUS2. 

3. Create and submit your FOCUS-2 Summary Report 

PART TWO

Answer the reflection questions in complete sentences using FOCUS-2 to research the careers and majors. Follow the provided Career Project Instructions.

PART THREE:

1. Activate your Handshake account with your ACC credentials (eID and password).

2. Complete your profile setup (see Handshake videos & guides here).

3. Take a screenshot of your completed profile and submit it as proof of the completed assignment.
