Child Crisis Arizona offer free, in-person and virtual family education classes throughout the year. All programs center around teaching positive parenting skills that build strong families. Child Crisis Arizona is one of the only educational providers in the area that offers classes specific to a father’s unique role in parenting, as well as grandparents or other kin raising children related to them. Our program also provides education for those divorcing to develop a plan to co-parent. Certain services are also offered in Spanish.

This popular work is an engaging adaptation of Mozart’s Don Giovanni that reinvents the "Don" as the infamous Big Bad Wolf. Little Red Riding Hood, The Three Little Pigs, and friends must work together to show the Wolf the error of his ways. Using the music and themes from one of Mozart’s great operas, young audiences learn the dangers of bullying, the beauty of friendship, and the power of music to bring people together.

Join Arizona Science Center to watch the solar eclipse unfold on Monday, April 8! At 9:00 a.m., the Center will open to welcome Arizonans to view one of the rarest astronomical events in our Solar System—complete with FREE eclipse glasses to view safely.
We invite Arizonans to spend the morning with us to watch the Moon cross between Earth and Sun, then stay to explore the science behind this out-of-this-world astronomical phenomenon. Solar telescopes, hands-on activities exploring solar and eclipse science, local experts, and more will be available FREE to the public!

Shamrock Farms offers both tours to the general public and field trips for schools.
Fun and educational one-hour guided farm tours at Shamrock Farms are great for school field trips and family fun. Take a ride on the cow-spotted tram to meet the hometown dairy’s herd and learn about the special care Shamrock Farms cows receive to ensure high-quality milk is produced. Tour highlights include driving through a desert oasis where guests see cows eating and relaxing under misted shades, a glimpse into the cow cafeteria where all the nutritious feed they consume is kept and the milking parlor where guests can see and learn about the milking process from a mezzanine viewing area. Once the guided tour is complete visitors enjoy a free milk while exploring the big red Welcome Barn that features a historical timeline, interactive activities, a gift shop and everyone’s favorite- Roxie’s Ice Cream parlor where you can choose between popular flavors of ice cream and more.

Children’s Museum of Phoenix

The museum reports that space for Free First Friday is very limited and guests will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Children’s Museum of Phoenix has three floors of interactive fun for the whole family, although it’s designed especially for children from birth to age 10. Note that for your family’s safety, adults are not allowed in the museum without children.

Market on the Move
The 3000 Club is a non-profit charitable organization working with food banks in Arizona, California, and other non-profit organizations. Please help us build a healthy and caring community. You can also provide your support either by donating or volunteering your time. The 3000 Club also sponsors The American Medical Aid Program and Disaster Relief.

St. Mary’s Food Bank serves to alleviate hunger through the gathering and distribution of food while encouraging self-sufficiency, collaboration, advocacy, and education.
St. Mary’s Food Bank is truly a community-based organization. Individual donors, corporate donors, and private grants help feed hungry individuals and families in our area. Serving 9 of Arizona’s 15 counties, they are committed to volunteerism, building community relationships, and improving the quality of life for Arizonans in need.

United Food Bank
The United Food Bank serves to stabilize the lives of hungry, low-income people within Eastern Maricopa, Gila, and Pinal, and Southern Navajo and Apache Counties of Arizona by actively acquiring, storing, and distributing large quantities of wholesome and nutritious foods to a network of community and strategic partners, combined with advocacy and educational initiatives that enhance lives.
Where they serve: The service area of 19,608 square miles includes some of the most remote areas in the state. Places like Sanders, Arizona, where there are only a couple of places to purchase food, and the next town is 40 miles away. They serve five counties in the East Valley and Eastern Arizona: Eastern Maricopa, Gila, Pinal, Southern Navajo, and Southern Apache.

Desert Mission Food Bank
Emergency Food Program: Provides monthly food packages to individuals and families living in the Desert Mission Food Bank service area. You also will receive extra items of the day such as produce and protein items, when available.
Senior Food Box: Provides monthly food packages to seniors who live in the Desert Mission Food Bank service area and meet federal poverty-level guidelines.
Infant Emergency Food Box Program: Provides monthly food packages that meet your baby’s developmental needs from newborn to 12 months of age.
Community Nutrition Education: Our staff provides food, nutritious recipes, resources, and cooking tips.
Garden Program: Fresh, healthy fruits and vegetables are grown inside. Free fall and spring gardening classes are available.
Living Well Financial Coaching: Provides tools, resources, and encouragement to help improve financial well-being and meet financial goals.
Farm Stand: Provides farm-fresh fruits and veggies for an affordable price. Rotates to different medical centers each Wednesday.

Fresh produce is brought in and sold in bulk.
Veggies R' Us: Direct Client/Agency distribution out of Borderlands warehouse facility. Supporters are provided with an entire shopping cart full of produce, all for just a contribution of $5 for a minimum of 100 lbs.
Produce on Wheels With-Out Waste (P.O.W.W.O.W.): Hosted pop-up produce markets across Arizona. Contribute $15 to shop up to 70 pounds of fresh produce for you, and your family, or to share with neighbors, friends, or someone in need.
