The Public Health and Equity Resource Navigator (PHERN) 

The Public Health and Equity Resource Navigator (PHERN) has new resources including the network map and The Fundamentals of Public Health Learning Series. The Learning Series provides a brief overview of the field and its history; explains key concepts related to health, well-being, and equity; summarizes the vital community conditions that we all need to thrive; describes the Essential Public Health Services; and discusses how Public Health can help steward a healthier and more equitable world. ⁠

Public Health AmeriCorps’ Virtual Career Fair

In collaboration with the CDC Foundation, Public Health AmeriCorps is hosting an additional highly interactive virtual Career Fair to help members and alumni explore public health careers and meet employers from diverse public health sectors:   

Thursday, May 9, from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. ET

Through the career fair online platform, members and alumni can contact employers directly, review open job opportunities of various types (i.e., full-time, part-time, internships, and fellowships), request in-person/virtual interviews, apply in real-time, network with public health professionals, and more.
