We want to make the transition between media elements smooth and sleek. Transitions help remove choppiness from the videos, offering a seamless delivery and experience.
Your videos must have two elements to meet the university video requirements:
A crossfade transition effect between each media element. This means a crossfade between the bumper and title slide and between the title slide and your video.
Fade to black at the end of the video. Be sure it does not cut off any part of your introduction!
Watch the video demonstration below to create crossfades.

Now it’s time for you to add the crossfade transition between each media file and a fade to black at the end. It should appear as follows in the timeline:
Bumper video -- Crossfade -- Title Slide -- Crossfade -- Introduction Video -- Fade-to-Black
Check Your Work!
You should have the following in your DaVinci project:
Crossfade using the Video Cross Dissolve effect between all media clips.
Between the bumper and title slide.
Between the title slide and introduction video.
Fade to black at the end of your introduction video.
Make sure the fade does not cut off your video.
If any of these are missing, please go back and review the activity to make sure all elements are in your project before moving on.
