You accomplished quite a bit today. At this point you:
Created a full introduction video using DaVinci Resolve editing software that follows university guidelines.
Can navigate and use editing tools in DaVinci Resolve.
Can upload video to your university YouTube account and embed it in Canvas.
Have a checklist to evaluate your final video for accuracy.
You are on your way to increasing connection with your students, aiming to improve feelings of belonging and learning outcomes!
As part of evaluating the effectiveness of the introduction videos, we created a survey for your students to take after the online course concludes. Your department lead will provide the link to embed in the final module of your course when they send you your feedback so you can upload both into Canvas.
Your feedback is important to us. We want to ensure this course is effective, giving you what you need to create and publish videos to Canvas. You will receive the following:
An email containing a survey link about this course towards the start of the semester.
We will gather additional feedback after the Spring semester concludes in another survey about any impact the video had on your students' engagement, connection, and learning outcomes.
Thank you for joining us in this course. We hope you enjoyed it and have new skills to help create engaging and effective videos that help build connections between you and your students!
