Receiving external feedback is important. It will allow you to get an insight into how the learner may understand your work.
Directions:
Step 1: Open the rubric link
Step 2: Click on the file and "Make a copy" of the document and make 2 copies
Step 3: Listen to two of your peers' posted podcasts on the canvas discussion
Step 4: Evaluate their podcast using the rubric. Give a numerical value for each criterion
Step 5: Write narrative feedback for each criterion explaining your grade
Step 6: Save and upload the rubric to each person on their original post on canvas (see instructions on the "Post it" page)
Ideally, your sample should aspire to check 4 "Exemplary" in each aspect of the rubric: technical production, central idea, engagement, and enhancement. If you received a 2 in technical production criteria, for example, because the sample length was more or less than the appropriate length, go back and try to adjust accordingly. Do you need to rewrite the script? Speak faster or slower? Add more ideas or synthesize others? Add more enhancements?
Ask for and brainstorm ways to improve and re-record when needed.
