Always solve a problem for your audience. For example, you can teach a needed skill or fill a knowledge gap. Listeners will feel that the time they invested in your podcast was well spent.

Why this Matters: Engagement is the key to maintaining an audience. A podcast's best numbers (views, downloads, etc.) typically occur after a debut or early episode. However, the most successful podcasts develop, build and maintain an audience.
