Now that you have learned podcasting basics, it is time to create your own podcast.

In the final section of this lesson, you will map out, record, export, and share your own podcast for your peers to review.

Why record a 2-minute sample?

Have you watched a movie trailer before? They are often short, an average of 2 minutes. They give you a glimpse of exciting scenes in the movie but without revealing everything. They leave you wanting to watch the entire movie.

Think of your 2-minute podcast sample as the trailer and introduction to the full podcast series. It will introduce your learners to the central idea of the podcast series and leave them wanting to listen and engage with the rest of the episodes.
