Wrote this in 2013 when I found out the cause of my breast cancer was a mutation in the BRCA2 gene - essentially a misbehaving protein that won't repair cell damage properly.

Now, they say protein 

is good for you, I don't like

that this one is not.

It doesn't sound too scary

but it is, to me

They gave me an inaccurate

and an inconclusive test

and made me sad

So I spend my time

keeping myself occupied

with my small projects

The chances are

I will be none the wiser

at this time next week,

but in case I am...

I just wanted to say that

I've had a nice life.
