If you aren't able to take lessons, youtube is a great for finding ways to improve your playing. Sometimes you can find video lessons and tips from some really good musicians. You can search youtube for whatever part of your playing you want to improve but here are a couple examples of things to search for:
"How to play high notes on trumpet"
"How to get a better tone on flute"
"How to play above the break on clarinet"
"How to play an open roll on snare drum"
There are so many videos on youtube, if one is not helpful skip to the next one, it won't be long before you find a video that explains it well and gives you some great tips for practicing.

Click on the titles to listen to our current band music. Then put a headphone on one ear and try playing along. This well help you hear how your part fits in with the other instruments and find sections that you still need to practice.
If it is a youtube video you can click on the gear icon in the bottom right corner of the video to adjust the speed. Practice tough parts slowly over and over and gradually speed up.
