Stepping into Kanjis
Kanjis are symbols to make Japanese words shorter, normally the word どうぶつ (Animal in hiragana symbols ) would be four symbols long. Using kanji, 動物 is now only two symbols long. We are using our chosen kanjis and molding them into concrete, making stepping stones! We will use these stones in our pathway to the learning lab. We are also trying to teach any park user about the Japanese culture with our Japanese inspired park. Below are some kanjis we felt might fit into the design.
