Interpretive Sign Work

With a generation donation from the Russian Jack Rotary club, we began work on on or interpretive signs this spring. The signs will be displayed on the perimeter posts that outline the Koi Fish. We hope to teach the public and students at our school about the different Kanjis represented in the park. Additionally we want to give our audiences ideas on how to use the space. Since the posts aren't constructed yet, we made our own using cardboard. Thanks also to Annette Heckart, our parent volunteer and Kevin Doniere with Alaska Chapter of Landscape Architects will put the finishing touches on the signs.

Nora, Daniel, Naomi, and Savannah help to explain to Kevin what they placed on their sign.
