Honor Choir

Honor Choir gives students the opportunity to audition for a district wide choir. Auditions for the 2022-23 Honor Choir are November 1st and 2nd. Students must prepare various exercises and sing two songs from the selections provided in the Honor Choir packet below.

Auditions are coming up quickly:

• November 1st, 4:30-6PM Begich Middle School

• November 2nd, 4:30-6PM Huffman/Homestead

Students who are selected will need to attend rehearsals every Thursday between January 12th-February 23rd ...4:30-6:00 PM. Honor Choir Dress Rehearsal is scheduled for Wednesday, March 1st, 4:15-5:45 at West High School . Honor Choir Performance will be on March 2nd.

If you are looking for the closest audition site...that would be Huffman.

I am available to work with interested choir students on Tuesdays (when there is no faculty meeting) and Thursdays 8:15-8:40 AM from now until the auditions. Please let me know if a student is planning to attend a rehearsal. The student may contact me or you can zip me an email. More detailed information will be shared with selected students in the future.
