1. Search the call number, title, and author of the book from the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) computer available on-site in the library or through WebOPAC.
2. Proceed to the section where the book or material is located.
3. Present the book/s and your library card to the circulation desk for proper check out of books through barcode reader. Sign the book card and leave it with the library personnel in charge.
4. All students (undergraduate and graduate program) are allowed to borrow one (1) book for overnight use. Books are checked out from 4:30 PM – 5:00 PM must be returned not later than 9:00 AM the following day.
5. In returning the borrowed books, go to the Circulation Desk for proper checking in. Books borrowed from the library should be returned on or before the due date.
6. Faculty members may borrow books for a maximum of two (5) books per subject taught, for 5 days (inclusive Saturday & Sunday), subject to renewal if there is no demand by other users. Books in great demand are placed on the reserve section. Other users may borrow these books for room use only for two (2) hours and subject to renewal if no demand.
7. Reference books, periodicals, and manuscripts are limited to room use only and must be borrowed one at a time.
8. Photocopying of manuscripts is strictly prohibited. Only abstracts are allowed to be reproduced

(1) Log-in to the attendance sheet located at the Information Desk Area.
(2) Proceed to the Circulation Desk Area and kindly present your faculty workload to the assigned Librarian/Library Staff at the Circulation Desk Area.
(3) If you need book borrowing assistance, you may share the title/keyword/subject of the book you take interest in of borrowing. Then the assigned librarian/library staff can/will help you narrow in your searches through the College Library's Online Public Access Catalog also known as OPAC with the URL: opac.ascot.edu.ph
(3.1) After presenting your faculty workload, you may proceed to the circulation area and browse through all the available library materials.
(4) Once you are done locating the book(s) you may want to borrow, kindly proceed back to the circulation desk area so that the librarian/library staff may check them out from the KOHA system.
(5) Enjoy reading and don't forget the due date of your borrowed books!
