The College Library uses the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) system in the organization of books and other library resource materials. It has seven (7) different sections which includes; General Circulation, Filipiniana resources, Periodicals/Serials, General Reference, Internet Sections, DOST-STARBOOKS Sections, and Peace Corner. The spaces require enough for the collections and to cater students and other clienteles. 

The College Library utilizes the KOHA library management system which features computerized searching catalogue, circulation, inventory and system administration. Borrowing and returning books, searching for materials needed by users, cataloguing and inventory are done electronically.

ACCESS COLLEGE LIBRARY'S Web-OPAC

The Web-based Online Public Access Catalog (WebOPAC) serves as the library’ catalog to browse all available library materials. Specific keywords based on a library material’s title, author, subject, ISBN, ISSN, series, and call number may be used when searching or browsing for a material.

SCHEDULE OF LIBRARY ORIENTATION

Library orientation is one of the techniques used to promote the library to students. It is conducted to all students, especially freshmen and transferee during the first semester of classes. Library instruction refers to short courses on how to use the library and its resources.

Library orientation includes the Introduction of Library personnel, Library services, Library resources, Arrangement of books and other materials in the library, Library sections, Rules and regulations, Classification system used, Library catalog – OPAC (learn its basics), Incoming and on-going library activities, and Open forum.

ASCOT Library's Alumni Archives Project

Introducing ASCOT Library's Alumni Archives Project. The Alumni Archives Project will serve as a repository for the alumni's still images, audio videos, yearbooks, etc. Thus, we are all inviting ASCOT alumni from S.Y. 1996-2023 to send us your memorable photos during your time as a student here at ASCOT from all college campuses (Zabali, Bazal, and Casiguran campus).
