My project consists of owning a total of 100 double chests (345600 items) of pumpkin pie in our community Minecraft server. Pumpkin pie is a top-tier food source that is crafted using two farmable materials, sugar and pumpkin. This means that to achieve my goal, I chose to design a sugar cane and a pumpkin farm for both to be crafted into pumpkin pie.
A problem that I encountered was that many people would never try coding since they think it looks super difficult. But in reality, it is quite simple. What I did was create a virtual talking system that asks you questions, called BOB, since many people are stuck in their houses. This solution is to demonstrate how easy and cool coding is!
My friend and I built a robotic vehicle for our class, only to find it slow and unconventional. We found this dissapointing and set out to create something more advanced. After days of work, we had built a vehicle that was faster, more agile and lighter than any of the other robots there.
I used Minecraft to create a realistic modern house inside of a small 12x30 terrain. My goal was to maximize the available space therefore making the house feel a lot bigger. I was very satisfied with the results, a relatively tall, contrasty and modern house that looks just like the perfect sub urban home. Although the house only contains one master bedroom other useful rooms like an office, or a roof sun bathing porch. To achieve my goal of making the house seem bigger I tried to avoid walls between rooms like from the dining room to the kitchen, instead using thinner see through dividers.
Last year and the beginning of this year, I participated in a VEX Robotics worldwide competition. The first part of the local competition was being selected from more than 300 students to join the Robotics Laboratory Team where I applied. Once you were accepted into the laboratory, they started to guide us about all the essentials to building, programming and designing a robot. There were four competitions you could participate in and one main competition that decided who went to the VEX Robotics World Championship Competition to represent Paraguay.
Over the past couple of weeks I have been working with an application called procreate. At first I just experimented with techniques until it was a little easier to use. This app has gotten me to draw a lot more and get better at it. A couple of weeks ago, in Language Arts we were working on argumentative writings and I wanted to draw about my topic: Do Kids Have Too Much Homework? So I decided to draw a picture of a kid staying up late at night, studying and doing homework.
