I did a detailed Vex IQ design of my team's robot. I work hard, and I succeeded.
I did it because I always had a passion for Legos. And me thinking a Lego helicopter could fly, was so amazing.
I created my project by the app called Snap Cad. It is a VEX app that is used to design the robots you want.
My robot had a suctioning process that grabbed the game balls and then throw them into a basket. We had a claw in the front, for the cubes and another one in the back. The front one was for the higher platforms and the back for the smaller. We sucked up balls and put them in the basket. Then the small claw grabbed a cube and put it on the bottom. And finally, we release the balls, and they enter the cube.
I learned, that with a lot of effort, you can achieve great things. Like what I achieved in the competition.
I could have done a lot more details. Because my designing, was detailed, but not bit by bit like the robot
The robot was the idea of my team. They built it and adjust changes. I don't take credit for that.
The design process was really interesting to read about and your pictures of the #D design are impressive. I appreciate the collaboration that must have gone into a complex project like this one. If you and your team continue into the future, it would be great to keep track of how you modify your design and what results that gives you. Refine, try again .... like the engineering design cycle. Great job!
