PROJECT SUMMARY

I wanted to make a paper airplane launcher using the mouse trap car parts. I had to figure out how to launch the paper airplane.

WHY?

I wanted to do this project because it seemed like fun. I also just wanted to see if it was possible.

HOW?

I started trying to use the mousetrap car parts to make it. then i realized that it was more difficult than using a rubber band. So I attached a rubber band to a string which was attached to the paper airplane.

WHAT?

I discovered that using a catapult was a lot more difficult. than using a rubber band. and separating the paper airplane from the launcher was more difficult then the other option.

SO WHAT?

My results are important because they show how things developed during my building. And I learned that making a paper airplane launcher is a lot harder than I thought.

WHAT'S NEXT?

I could extend my project by making the rubber band capable of letting the paper airplane go. and something i could have done differently was do some research. If i did do some research it would have saved a lot of time.

I liked the idea that you were determined to build something that you wanted. Them you went into trying things out to discover what worked. Certainly, doing research would help. It will give you a lot of background on what can and can not be used and how power, speed and weight work.
