Educational Psychologists engage with research to ensure that they are up to date with evidence around best practice, in order to improve outcomes for children and young people.
In addition to keeping up to date with literature, Educational Psychologists frequently undertake and contribute to to research of their own, at a school level, service level, local authority level and at a national level. Research undertaken by Educational Psychologists is frequently disseminated at national and international levels.
All research work is undertaken in accordance with the British Psychological Society’s Code of Ethics and Conduct which can be found here.
