Pebble Go Next will give you an overview for starting any research project. Middle school students need to log in differently than elementary school students.
Do NOT log in with Clever or Google.
Type jabes for the Username and school for the password.
To research Solar Eclipses, find the article called "Sun" then scroll down and look for the section titled "Solar Eclipses" or use Ctrl-F and search for "eclipse".
Britannica School has more detail than Pebble Go.
To research Solar Eclipses, look in the article called "Eclipse". Make sure you are looking at the section about SOLAR eclipses, not lunar.
Books
The library has many books on space. Your teacher has others. These are excellent resources for finding information for your research.
Magazine Article
Astronomy for Kids is a magazine available through Sora. Pages 72-75 are an article explaining eclipses. It is about both lunar and solar eclipses so pay close attention when reading and taking notes.
If you are not logged in to Sora, you will have to log in. You may have to borrow the magazine to see the information.
Websites
The website for NASA, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, has a detailed explanation with many illustrations explaining eclipses.
The website also has a frequently asked questions section with simple answers to many common questions about eclipses.
