Our Home Planet is an eBook in our library's Destiny Discover catalog. Pages 30-31 discuss and show the phases of the moon.
Click Open to view the book. If that does not work, you will need to log into Destiny Discover to see it.

The website for NASA, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, has a detailed explanation with many illustrations about the phases of the moon.
The website also has a question and answer section with simple answers to many common questions about the moon.
This interactive tool helps people visualize the relationship between the moon's position in its orbit and what we see on Earth.
