Jennifer loves librarianship because she gets to learn new things every day, share excitement about books, research, and digital literacy, all while helping people better understand our world. She is thrilled to explore books by and about all kinds of people, experiences with APS middle school students. She collaborates with all of Gibbs staff to teach media literacy and research skills in our ever-changing information landscape. 

With a Master’s degree in Education but a career background in museum exhibit interpretation, Ian has been an inveterate reader since the sixth grade and is thrilled to begin his fourth year at Gibbs. A recently self-published epic fantasy author, his other hobbies include storytelling, studying world mythology, video games, riddle-making, and the ancient Chinese board game Go.
