Return or Renew September Books
Library books are checked out for a month at a time. Books that were checked out in the beginning of September are now due. Please check at home, in your backpack, and in your locker and return any books you are finished reading. If you have a book you borrowed a while ago that you are still reading or using for your ELA project, you can renew it. Just stop by the library and ask. You can also email jlauchlan@arlington.k12.ma.us to ask for a renewal on your book project book or any other book you are still reading.
When to Visit the Library
Students will come to the library once per quarter with their ELA class and at other times for class projects. or during any class period with a pass from a teacher.
Gibbs students may visit the library independently throughout the school day with teacher permission. Teachers usually allow students to come from ELA and from WIN classes, and on occasion from other classes if students have finished their work.
In addition, the library is open to all students before school between the first two bells and after school Monday through Thursday.
