Share with the people around you the different ways people can make a difference.
In groups of 3, create a list of 10 things you could do to make a difference, e.g. writing a letter, talking to people about it.
Rank them 1-10 in terms of making the biggest difference.
WHY did you rank them in that order? Share back in your pod/whānau class.

How are people in YOUR community making a difference / showing Kaitiakitanga? Brainstorm and research to find organisations and people who are looking after the environment / ocean, or who are raising awareness of looking after it.
Share ideas within your pod/whānau - they will be listed on the whiteboard/shared Google Doc to look back at later to see if anything has changed.
