Maumelle Charter High School is currently serving students in grades 6 - 8. They are a top performing public charter school that earned an "A" on their School Report Card by the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education. MCHS was awarded an Expansion Subgrant in the spring of 2020. They plan to use the funding to support their school as they open a new campus that will serve students in grades 9 - 12.
Academics Plus prepares students for secondary while they are enrolled in their lower grade level schools. They provide course offerings to students through accelerated pathways that allow them to complete algebra and geometry prior to entering high school. They also partner with higher education institutes to offer students extensive dual credit courses where they can earn both high school and college credits while completing college level courses.
Maumelle Charter High School has 131 approved volunteer sites, a community service coordinator, and processes in place on gaining and certifying the community service hours. Students in grades 9-12 who earn 75 hours of community service learning in high school at approved sites will earn a career focus credit.
Only hours completed after September 9, 2019, count towards the career focus credit.
