Academies of Rivercrest High School (ARHS) serves students in grades 9-12 in Wilson, Arkansas. ARHS is a district conversion school sponsored by the Rivercrest School District. As an FY2020 APSRC CSP subgrantee, ARHS received $1,250,000 in November 2020.

The mission of the Academies of Rivercrest High School is to produce students who are future-ready by providing the academic and technical skill sets to succeed in both skilled jobs and post-secondary formal learning opportunities through an environment of collaboration and innovation.

Best practices implemented last year include extensive work in the Solution Tree PLC process. Systematic implementation of this comprehensive professional development program resulting in the full implementation of the Solution Tree PLC model with student academic improvement as its focus. Teachers have collaborative professional learning opportunities with student strengths and weaknesses as the focus of all work. SMART Data was implemented and teachers and administrators are beginning to receive specialized training.
