The mission of the Newcomer Summer Program is to accelerate the academic and personal growth of refugee and immigrant students by providing a comprehensive summer program that focuses on English Language Development, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, and the Arts.
Student Eligibility
Student Eligibility
Students must meet the following criteria in order to qualify for the Newcomer Summer Program
Entering the 7th grade or above in SY24/25
English learner
In U.S. schools for less than 3 full academic school years
ACCESS/WIDA scores at 2.9 or below
