Roadmap for Serving English Learners
The Roadmap for Serving ELs is a visual representation of the trajectory of EL students from the moment they are registered to one of our schools to the moment they exit ELD services.
Interpreting ACCESS 2.0 for Scheduling
The PGM 1802 report provides schools valuable date regarding student performance on the ACCESS 2.0 assessment. Determining scheduling for students based off their scores can be complicated, though. This guide helps to walk administrators and schedulers through that decision-making process.

ACCESS Performance Definitions Defined
This document provides an overview of the performance descriptors for English Learners, K-12, with respect to ACCESS 2.0. It can be referenced for placing and scheduling students in ELD courses at the elementary, middle and high school level. All ACCESS guidance can be found at https://wida.wisc.edu/.
Opt-Out/Refusal Process
Parents/Guardians of English Learners have the right to opt their students out of the ELD services. Review the flowchart to the left or click the link below to learn more about opting students out of ELD services.
Please note that opting a student out of services does not remove their EL designation. Students who are opted out of EL services must take the ACCESS test every year until they exit by achieving an overall score of 4.7 of higher.
