Opt-Out/Refusal Process
eld-refusal-overview-chart.pdfParents/Guardians of English Learners have the right to opt their students out of the ELD services. Review the flowchart to the left or click the link below to learn more about opting students out of ELD services.
Please note that opting a student out of services does not remove their EL designation. Students who are opted out of EL services must take the ACCESS test every year until they exit by achieving an overall score of 4.7 of higher.
