Kindergarten - 2nd Grade Passwords

Note: You're required to change your password at 3rd grade. K-2 passwords will be automatically generated when an account is created. Student accounts will be locked after 20 failed login attempts and will have to wait 15 minutes before they can try again.

Teachers can assist students with their passwords. They may keep student's user IDs and Passwords on index cards (or other printed resources) or in an electronically stored solution. This information must be stored in a secure location when not being used by the student. This information should only be handed out when students need to access computer resources (e.g. working in a computer lab or logging into a computer during class).

Teachers or designee may keep track of, manage, and enter student IDs and Passwords for special needs students.

Note: 3 - 12 must change their password every 365 Days. You will not be able to reuse your previous 4 passwords. Your account will be locked after 20 failed login attempts and you will have to wait 15 minutes before you can try again. Your student ID cannot be used for your password. New students must change their password before logging into APS systems. Passwords can be updated at pwreset.aps.edu (for grade 3-12 ONLY)

Please note that if a student has changed their password this year and if it meets the complexity requirements, they will not have to change it again until it expires 356 days after they changed it.
