DRMS Course Request Steps

January & February 2025:

• Parent communication email sent

• DRMS Course Request  & 5th Grade Open House information posted on DRMS webpage

Important Dates:

• Thursday January 30th-- Future Diamondbacks will visit DRMS!  We will have presentations for incoming 5th grade students to review required 6th grade and learn about electives

• Thursday January 30th -- 6th Grade Open House for incoming 5th graders from 6:00-7:30.  Come visit the DRMS campus and learn more about what to look forward to next year!

• Thursday February 18th -- 6th Grade Pre-Registration Google Forms DUE.  DRMS and elementary counselors will work together to work with students to verify and follow-up that all course request information has been turned in. 

March 2025:

• Complete annual district-level APS Online Registration (OLR) via ParentVUE for the 2025-2026 school year.  

  • Access for OLR typically opens during the late March; if you complete OLR prior to this, it will be denied as it is still registering students for the current 2025-2026 year.  

April & May 2025:

• New Student Registration for Fall 2025 -- for any students new to the DRMS boundary area

June & July 2025:

• Finalize annual district-level OLR Registration by July.  District OLR process needs to be finalized with updated proof of residency forms, immunizations, etc. before students can receive their 2025-2026 class schedules in August
