Step 1: Selecting an Adviser
The adviser for your project is one of the most important assets to utilize navigating through the capstone experience. They will serve as a mentor to run ideas through, a resource to help you complete the requirements, and the person that will check off your written work. It is helpful you select someone that you can connect with or has some expertise in the area of your experience.
Process For Selecting an Adviser
Students are given the chance to select a faculty member as their Capstone Advisor from March 15th - April 6th (students are not guaranteed their first choice of advisor. First come first serve. Scan advisor’s QR code and sign up on advisor’s form.)
Students are allowed to work in groups of up to 2 students, but all members of the group must have the same advisor
Any student who does not select an advisor will have one assigned to them
Students complete their Capstone Proposal by Friday May 26th
