The SLRF is used to purchase resources that facilitate and enhance a learner’s already personalized learning plan. These resources are tied directly to specific competencies/content from the new BC Curriculum, and students must be able to demonstrate their learning using these resources.

When finished doing your part, please forward the request to slrf_request@apps.nides.bc.ca
What is my part?
After families complete the SLRF request form, the form will go to your inbox – please make sure you follow up in a timely manner so families receive their resources as soon as possible.
Ensure that the resource request meets the needs of the student’s learning plan.
Ensure that the form has been filled out correctly and all necessary information is there.
Complete the request information on the SLP document.
Forward the request to slrf_request@apps.nides.bc.ca
Each of your students will have their own SLRF Tracking Spreadsheet already uploaded into their Student File in your Google Drive. Please add the SLP Date to the spreadsheet at your SLP meetings.
*The home facilitator will NOT directly receive payment or reimbursement for the agreed upon resources - Please ensure that the home facilitator is fully aware of this arrangement.*
By popular request, we continue to revise a process for group submissions (not for multiple siblings in a family).
Click here for access to the online form. As with all requests, when submitted, the form will go to your inbox. Once you have done your part, forward on to slrf_request@apps.nides.bc.ca for processing.
Important!! You will have to collect PDFs of the current SLRF policy form and upload to the Division folder BEFORE forwarding the request.
If you find yourself waiting on a few stragglers, ask the vendor to prepare/revise the invoice to include ONLY those who are ready to be processed, and then submit the separate group request for the rest later. Our beta test demonstrated that when a group request is submitted prematurely, it adds an excessive amount of work and follow-up for everyone involved and defeats the intention of a group request.
You will also need to ensure learning intentions are clear in the SLP. How can you include parent/student voice to this process?
Any questions? Please reach out.
A MAXIMUM OF TWO INTERNET REQUESTS PER FAMILY MAY BE SUBMITTED
