Using the Page List

The page list can be used as a very efficient way to navigate your data set. The page list shows you some important details about how the data set is sorted. If you understand that, you can use the page list tool to avoid having to search at all!

Finding Records with the Page List

The search tool is very effective in Aspen, however, it requires that keyboard be used to enter a search term. Using page list will allow the user to find a record quickly, without searching. Follow the steps below or watch the video.

1. Sort the data set by clicking the field heading for the field you are interested in finding.

2. Click the Page List. Scroll to the page with the matching criteria.

3. Click the page or the page before if there might be data.
