Next Year

by: Lucas Raven

May is the last month until summer break. Personally I had a really good 7th grade year but there are a few things that could change for the better going into the next school year.

First off we need better clubs, like a regular two hand touch football club or something like that. And people in clubs like tiger spirit and photography don't enjoy being there. And instead of being forced into one club we should have a choice. But once we go to a club we have to stay. Just so it's fun for students and also we can be monitored.

Second of all we need better encores. Since Spanish isn't gonna be an option at MPMS in the 2026-2027 school year it's a new opportunity to have something like woodshop or auto mechanics.

My 3rd request is that we get a new ISS  teacher. When I switched  to Mr. Lemasters class I really liked how it was more hands on and interactive instead of just explaining a paper then us doing it we actually talk about what we are learning about. I look forward to going to his class everyday and always have a good time in his class, he really makes school enjoyable. That's why I think for the upcoming school year he could be an 8th grade teacher for social studies for the rest of his career at MPMS and if we don't have enough space we could use that room at the end of the CTE  hallway.

My 4th and final request is better activities in gym class, split gym is an obvious favorite amongst all grade levels unlike scooter basketball. But we should have more activities like dodgeball or stuff amongst that nature.
