SCHOLARSHIPS

Applying for scholarships is an excellent way of gaining finanical support for your study. Some general points:

  • you can apply for more than one scholarship.

  • plan - find scholarships - check application deadlines - see Ms Muncey and get support!

  • most scholarships are completed online - important to draft answers and then cut and paste into the application. Be sure to liaise with Ms Muncey - I will help you with your drafts and proof-read etc to make sure you are answering the question and meeting requirements.

  • you will often need to write a personal statement/essay to accompany your application - this takes a bit of time - so draft and redraft if necessary! Again Ms Muncey is here to support with this.

  • you will often require proof of your academic record - again coordinate with Ms Muncey to ensure that we get your results verified etc.

  • you will most likely require referees / references. Again liaise with Ms Muncey to ensure that you have the right people providing these - Ms Muncey will deal with getting Principal’s references written.
