The purpose of the Yo-yo project is to learn how to document work on a web-portfolio.
We took tool-saws and we cut circles of wood. We first all cut one, and then we cut another one. I sanded my first one, and then I had to wait until the next day to make my other one
I look really dumb but its okay
Journal entry 2
I cut my second one, and then I sanded it. We painted them, and I painted one yellow and blue, while the other side was green and red. I wanted to have the colors blend together more, but I decided to just randomly pick colors. I'll just put it on my shelf with all of my other random objects, and then forget about it
Journal entry 3
So uhm someone stole my blue and yellow one, so I cut a new one and painted it purple and green like barney. Thats about all I did
Describe the final results:
What do you know now that you didn't know when you started this project?
I learned that I can use a hole saw
What advice would you give to future students about this project?
Don't sit next to turner, and you really have to speed up when using a hole saw. Don't try to push the hole saw into the wood, just let it cut as you speed up.
What else would you like to try that you didn't have time for?
It would've been cool to cut a punch of painted wood circles and put them on a string
What proof do you have that shows you learned the project’s purpose?
My portfolio, and my yoyo
