Summer Courses

Accelerate your Learning is our summertime courses for our Secondary School students. The benefit of enrolling during summer, is that they are able to expand their options for their school year electives. In this way, our students fulfill all the courses that are uniquely required for the Bachillerato en Ciencias y Letras Diploma (national) by taking a pair of courses each summer. The semester is consolidated into a 40-hour course completed within 4 weeks.

Summer Online Modules

Credit-bearing courses will be offered as asynchronus modules. This means: for each course, students will attend a 90-minute Zoom-based class on Mondays. Then, throughout the week, students must complete prompts and tasks through Google Classroom. They may connect to their teacher during daily office hours via Zoom. Commitment to the completion to the online course is an excellent preparation for college-level coursework and independence in life commitments. Success in this type of learning requires a distinct level of maturity and commitment.

Credits

Each course listed is equivalent to a semester-long course. The courses are paired to allow students to engage in a year's worth of credit.
