The Active Schools team work closely with a variety of community partners across Angus and into neighbouring authorities. Partnership with these agencies is vital to developing the programmes that we coordinate in our schools & communities and providing more opportunities for school aged pupils to be more active.
Schools and their staff are our immediate partners that we work closely with, further partners include many community sports clubs and physical activity providers to extend the pathway from school to community sport. We work with closely with Angus Alive Sport & Leisure to offer coach education opportunities to support our young people & club coaches, work closely with community clubs and promote sessions in Angus Alive centres.
