Summer school at AASO is open to everyone! Current students and external students can come to study with us in Okinawa for the summer.
2026 Summer School Overview
when: July 20th (Monday) - August 7th (Friday)
Time: 8:30am - 3:30pm
Fee: 89,800 yen
*Optional (required to registration)
School lunch fee: 6,050 yen (optional)
Morning school program (Gakudo) 4,800 yen (7:00-8:00, optional)
After school program (Gakudo) 12,000 yen (15:30-18:00, optional)
Schedule (Elementary and Junior High students only; pre-K and kindergarten follow a separate schedule)
08:35-10:10: Activity block #1
10:10-10:40: Snack and recess time
10:40-12:15: Activity block #2
12:15-13:05: Lunch and recess time
13:05-14:40: Activity block #3
14:40-15:30: Homeroom and cleaning time
Every day is different! Possible activities during activity blocks include:
Language instruction (Japanese and English)
Math instruction
Community guest speakers
Fun activities
STEM workshops
Cooking
Art
Music
Fun activity days:
Okinawa soba noodle making on July 23rd
factory tour and aplash party at the creek on July 29th
Hiking @ Ishikawa Shonen Shizen no Ie) on July 31st
BBQ @ Beach on August 7th
