To request new internet service, request a change to, or cancellation of your existing service:
1. Go to the AMCOM HelpDesk
2. Click "Log in to track your tickets."
3. Click "Log in with Google".
4. Click on the "New Ticket" link at the top right.
5. Select "Residential ADSL Service - Create, Change, Cancel"
While ADSL support is freely available for individuals, Ethio Telecom (ETC) offers VIP level support to their enterprise customers. This level of support allows customers to take advantage of expedited service requests for their ADSL internet service. Through its affiliation with the Embassy, ETC offers this level of support to AMCOM, and AMCOM is extending ADSL support services to its members for a $10 monthly fee.
Our service includes account creation, management, and bill payment and collection. We don't, however, offer on-site support or troubleshooting of personal internet equipment.
The following is a reproduction of our service agreement:
- AMCOM manages ETC residential ADSL accounts, to include establishment, changes, or cancellation of services, submission to ETC and follow up of service requests due to service degradations or outages, payments to ETC for all services, and customer billing.
- AMCOM will submit all service requests within 24 hours of receipt, not including holidays or weekends.
- AMCOM will respond to trouble tickets during business hours only. All after-hours requests will be answered no later than 24 hours after the start of the next business day.
- AMCOM does not provide on-site services or troubleshooting. For basic trouble shooting advice, please see the help center knowledge base articles.
- AMCOM will charge a monthly service fee of $10 USD to manage residential internet account.
- Users will promptly pay all internet service bills for their account. Failure to pay bills within two weeks of the beginning of the month will result in automatic cancellation of their ADSL account, and their deposit will be used to pay any outstanding fees to AMCOM and ETC.
- AMCOM is not responsible for the quality of services provided by ETC. AMCOM offers no refunds for service outages or degradations, unless it is shown that AMCOM did not meet its established service standards.
