Featured AMCOM Service: Supplemental Consumables Orders

AMCOM coordinates several different types of supplemental consumables orders throughout the year in order to offer more choices to our members.  So, if you are running low on milk, beer, wine or beef, AMCOM members can choose to order items and stock up on your favorite consumables several times throughout the year.  By pre-ordering goods, members also save money over the commissary price. This is a great option for stocking up on items that your family uses frequently and that may sell out at the commissary (like milk).  By placing your own order, you are assured of receiving the specific brand, flavor, variety, etc. of items that you like.  

Goods are sourced from companies based in the US, Europe, Dubai and Kenya.  Currently, AMCOM uses IDS-Miami for dry goods, milk and frozen foods, Rastelli -New York  for mainly Frozen Foods and Dave Streiffer for wine, beer and spirits, both based in Houston, TX; Peter Justesen based in Demark for alcoholic beverages and milk; IDS Dubai for alcoholic beverages and; Farmers’ Choice Kenya for frozen meats and cheeses.  

Sounds great, right?  Now that you’re ready to order, here’s how the process works: 

Wait for email notifications sending order forms to you 

Send your completed order form to commissary@amcomaddis.org Members must pay a deposit on the order at the time it is placed with the balance due upon delivery. 

Once an order is placed, it typically takes  3-4 months for delivery so plan ahead!  Both individual and commissary orders are placed at the same time.  

Once orders are received in country, individual orders are sorted & available for collection
