Range Driving

What is Range?

Range is an independent driving practice in a closed, marked parking lot.  It is a great way to get comfortable on the road and with the instructor.

We offer Range once a month and require attendance at 2 days of range (any of our range days) before a student can do Behind the Wheel drives (BTW).  All students MUST have their permit before they can drive on the range or the road. Please use the form below to sign up for range.

When is Range?

Sign-up dates are listed below.  Students MUST complete range before they can do on-the-road drives.  If a student misses their range dates, they will be rescheduled for the next set of dates and will have to complete their road driving and skills test AFTER that next range date. 

Range will take place from 4 pm to 6 pm on both days during school. Summer Range is from 10 am to Noon on both days.

Available Range Dates: 

 Range times after August will be from 4 pm to 6 pm. Dates for the rest of the 2024-2025 school year are to be determined.  Please check back for more information.

If one of the above range dates isn't listed in the sign-up below, they are full.  Range and road dates fill up fast.  Please contact David Belliston if you would like to be put on a wait list but be aware that cancelations are rare.
