I've received many more emergency snacks. Thanks so much for remembering. If you STILL have not sent some sort of granola snack or bar, please put something to eat in a plastic baggie labeled with your child's name for the emergency backpack. Chances are high that it will not be needed and we will eat them at our last day party, BUT YOU NEVER KNOW... Here are some dates to put on your calendar:Looking Ahead: December 2 REPORT CARDS COME HOME! December 15 FIRST GRADE CHRISTMAS PROGRAM! The favorite Christmas program of all will be performed by our first graders at 10:00, 2:30 and again at 6:00. Performers need to be in our classroom at 5:45. Please dress them in a white top and a dark bottom. (They wear a green bow and these show up best against a white background.) Christmas colors are also good. We're excited to sing for you! We brought games from home and played them in the multi purpose room downstairs with Mrs. McKell's class. Congratulations to our class for our great behavior!Thanks to parents for helping us with our Thanksgiving Feast. We dressed as pilgrims or Native Americans and re-enacted the first Thanksgiving.End of Trimester: The trimester ended on November 18th, report cards come home on Dec. 2nd.I hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving holiday. It was a nice little break.Speaking of breaks, we sent home the last math homework packet for the year. We will resume the math homework once December and the Christmas rush has passed. Merry Christmas!BUT don’t take a break from reading! Keep those calendars up to date even through Christmas. Golden tickets will be earned.CHRISTMAS BREAK: December 16th is the last day of school.
