Week 36: Typing Test, then Coding- Art Unit

Week 36 Self-Start:

Log in to Typing Club and start the Typing test on your dashboard.  

Remember...it's not about speed or how much you type.  It's about if you can 

TYPE BY TOUCH!


After the test, please go back to CS First and keep working on your Art Unit projects.

so I can...create a fun projects using famous works of art and art mediums

I know I have it when...I follow the CS First video tutorials to code the skills for each project.

Scroll up to the Quick Links and click on "CS First."  On your dashboard, go down to the "Art" lesson link and click on it.  SKIP THE FIRST 2 PARTS AND GO TO THE VIDEO ON #2 and click the STARTER PROJECT link on the right to open Scratch.  

This project has custom sprites, so DON'T DELETE them!

Week 33: Google Slides Day 1- Stop Motion: The Red Ball

so I can...make a stop motion video.

I know I have it when...I have 25 slides where the ball is slightly moved on each and I share it in video mode so it plays the entire animation.

Today I will...code how to make a sprite jump

so I can...create a jumping game

I know I have it when...I follow the directions in the Scratch cards that makes an obstacle move across the screen toward the player sprite again and again and the sprite is able to jump over it when a key is pressed.
