Thanks for helping out today! If there are no sub plans on my desk already, get the BLACK backpack under my desk and look in the front pocket of the YELLOW folder for my everyday sub plans (my schedule, routines, how to run the lab, etc). Read them AND what is listed below.
If there are no date-specific instructions below, that means I'm in emergency mode. In that case, each class can log in > open Chrome > go to their grade page > click the Free Choice Board under "Quick Links" at the top and do anything there for the class period.

To display the slides on the projector, open them in a new tab (click top-right corner), then drag that tab down to separate it into a new window, and then drag UPWARDS to the projector screen. You can make them fullscreen by clicking the "Slideshow" button in the top right area.

5th: finishing a project in Code HS. When done, they can free-code or use the Scratch cards on my counter. No free choice boards today...they need to stay in Code HS.
1st & 2nd: They can free-code in Code HS or play on the Free Choice Board. (They should know their animal passwords for Code HS by heart, but you can look on the back of their login card if needed).
4th & 6th: finishing up a code HS project from last week. If they finish, they can work on previous coding projects or free-code a new one. No free choice board today...they need to stay in Code HS.
NOTE: All grades have been taught to log out using the keyboard shortcut "windows + Shift + Q". See below for details.

Each grade has a page on this site, where every week's lesson follows the format below. I always put as much info for the students on there as possible- links, slides, videos- so they (and you) can always know what is expected. Unless specified differently on the clas seating chart, students are to work on the current day's lesson.

My usual attention-getter: say "Hands on top!" and students respond by putting both hands on heads and say "Everybody stop!"
