Let's Work Together!

YOU are your child's FIRST teacher. If what's being taught in school is reiterated at home, whether by you or your student or both, the learning will have the most positive impact on your student's life.

Starting September and going thru March, your student(s) will get a digital citizenship lesson in my class from the Common Sense curriculum about one of these 6 subjects:

1) Sept: Media Balance & Wellness

2) Oct: Privacy & Security

3) Nov: Digital Footprint & Identity

4) Jan: Relationships & Communication

5) Feb: Cyberbullying, Digital Drama & Hate Speech

6) April: News & Media Literacy

On the Digital Citizenship Lessons Page, I have posted materials from Common Sense that you can use at home to pre-teach or re-teach these concepts at home.  It doesn't matter if you use them before or after my lessons.  Any reinforcement at home will make a difference!
