Our licence
We are licensed to sell alcoholic beverages from 9am until 10pm. Always open drinks before you give them to customers. Drinks are only to be consumed in the seating areas of the diner and outside area. We can serve small amounts of takeaway alcohol with takeaway food only. You must have a valid (completed less than three years ago) Victorian RSA certificate, and we need a copy of this to be placed in our RSA register. If you do not have one you cannot serve drinks, at all. Our licence and redline plan is hung next to the front door, please take time to read it carefully
Wine
We aim to stock the best quality wines that we enjoy as well as being price sensitive. We really encourage all our staff to be familiar with the wine and tastings and knowledge will be provided. Please if not sure on any of the wines we stock, please ask for help.
Beer
Same as with the wine, we stock a selection of beers, seltzers, ciders etc. that have evolved over time. Here is some info on some of the drinks we stock to get started.
Temple Brewing (Our closest brewery)
Temple Brewing Co was established to celebrate the origins of beer. The first beer was made in a Temple with records dating as far back as 9500 BC. As one of the oldest prepared beverages in the world, beer was instrumental in the formation of civilisations. Temple Brewing Co aims to showcase this amazing liquid and immerse and inform visitors all about craft beer. The brewery is uniquely designed to allow visitors to walk into the brewery safely and observe the brewers as they go about crafting their brews.
Bicycle beer
A crisp summer fresh ale.
Our own custom blend of seven hops gives a fresh, spicy hop aroma and a smooth flavour with subtle overtones of citrus and summer fruits.
The brewing process enhances the mild hop profile, and complements the soft malt character while leaving a dry finish on the palate.
It’s designed to quench your thirst and is light enough to get you back on your bike.
Rice XPA Temple
CRISP, TROPICAL AND CRUSHABLE
A small addition of flaked rice lightens the body, creating a super dry stage for the large dry hop of fruity, citrus, and floral flavours to shine.
Dry hop: Azacca & Mosaic
Nose: Bold tropical fruit flavours such as Mango & Pineapple, Citrus, and Floral notes shine through.
Flavour: Dry, relatively imperceptible malt flavour. Sweet fruit from the hops and a medium, pleasant bitterness make this beer incredibly drinkable
Balter XPA
It might be pale but there’s nothing weak about this bad boy. This XPA’s tropical and floral aromatics set off a fruity palette that will punch your taste buds in the pleasure zone. Tailored for those who enjoy a fully-hopped beer that’s still easy to drink.
Balter Captain sensible
Sensible like contributing to your super fund with the pleasure of riding a supercharged jetski. This ale balances refined malt undertones against vivacious hop notes to round out a full taste and mouthfeel that defies its mid-strength nature. Perfect for those who like to keep a lid on it, but still want to crack the top off a couple.
Mornington Draught
Characteristics: Crisp, Refreshing, Bitter
Description: This is a classic Australian draught that uses premium Australian malts to make it an easy drinking session beer.
Tecate
Born on the western bicultural borderland of Baja California, Mexico, Tecate® was originally created in 1944 to be the perfect thirst quencher for the miners working in the area. We are still proudly brewed in our namesake town of Tecate, using the same high quality recipe. Tecate® Original is a full-bodied lager with a refreshing crisp malt flavor and a pleasant aftertaste – the way a Mexican cerveza should be
This combination of apple varieties delivers a unique flavour and the ideal balance of acidity, sweetness and tannins. Displaying bright aromas of crisp apple with subtle vanilla and cinnamon character from some minimal oak contact, this cider is still wonderfully refreshing with a clean, dry finish
Kettle soured wheat, lightly salted and infused with white peaches - a delicate three way salty, sweet and sour balancing act. A little bit of white mischief in a beer where anything goes.
Hops: Pacifica, Wai-iti, Amarillio, Peach & Sea Salt in Dry Hop
Malts: Premium Pilsner, Pale Wheat & Carapils

Monceau
is an ultra low-alc alternative to sparkling wine. It's designed to be enjoyed in your best stemware and pairs beautifully with food.
Born out of a passion for low intervention, natural ferments, it elevates the flavour profile of non-alcoholic options to the level of natural wine, craft beer and cider, creating a sophisticated, complex drinking experience. With almost no alcohol (~1% ABV), Monceau is the kind of drink you want to share with friends and family over dinner.
Utilising an ancestral method borrowed from pétillant naturel winemaking and a special culture derived from kombucha, Monceau undergoes two small batch fermentations. The second fermentation, in-bottle, creates natural carbonation and ever-evolving flavour profiles
