November 2022
Message from the Principal:
The entire Cougar den mourns the loss of one of our students. In light of this recent tragedy, I wanted to re-share the anonymous reporting system. The Say Something system allows you to submit safety concerns to help others who may be in danger of hurting themselves or others. Information for this system is listed in the image below. In addition, RHA Mobile Crisis is a 24/7 health service line for individuals in crisis. That number is 828-848-2515. As a Cougar family, we would like to promote communication to trusted adults within our building. If you or your student have any concerns, please encourage them to reach out to a counselor or administrator to address these concerns.
Time is moving quickly this semester, so be sure to monitor your student's grades and attendance closely. Please encourage them to keep up the the good work over the remaining weeks of this semester and to work hard on their exams. Here is the exam schedule:
December 15th - 1st Block Exams
December 16th - 2nd Block Exams
December 19th - 3rd Block Exams
December 20th - 4th Block Exams
December 21st - Makeups
I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy some much-deserved time with family and friends.
As always, thank you for your support of Alexander Central High School!
