Cecily Tynan presents to the Lower School
Part of the Lower School Science curriculum includes learning about weather. Cecily Tynan talked to the girls about her job and what she does. She taught them about weather and clouds and even made a cloud in a jar! (And then let it go.) We got to see some behind the scenes photos and pictures from when she filmed the weather forecast from the zoo. We learned so much and had a great time. Her positive energy was contagious.

As a culminating project for our unit on weather, second graders record their own weather forecast. Cecily Tynan gave the girls some amazing professional tips for how to improve their reports and how to record the very best presentation. I know their reports will be amazing thanks to her wonderful suggestions!
